Georgia’s Top Monthly Characters- July

Hello everyone!

Welcome to a new monthly feature on The Big Book Project, where I will be writing about my favourite characters from the books I have read this month! The aim of this feature is to introduce people to characters from books they may not have read: you may just find out about a book, (and a character), that could be your new favourite! On with the post of my top monthly characters in July…

1. The Moonlight Dreamers by Siobhan Curham- Amber

I absolutely loved reading The Moonlight Dreamers this month, it is the perfect addition to your summer TBR! Amber is one of the main protagonists in the book, she had the idea to set up the group ‘The Moonlight Dreamers in the first place. She was tired of being told by society how to look, what to say and what to do. She is my type of friend!

2. Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon- Madeline

Everything Everything absolutely blew me away- so if you are looking for a book to get you out of your reading slump this is the one. Madeline has SCID, which is a disease that will make you critically ill and could result in death by just going outside. What really made me warm to her was her taste for life even though her one is difficult, but I also loved her unique personality.

3. Love and Other Man Made Disasters by Nicola Doherty- Boy

Boy is the young gruff ski instructor that teaches a nervous Juno, (the main protagonist), how to ski. You could see he had layers of personality, and there is something softer under his hard exterior. Boy is quite a different character that I have never experienced reading about before- I want to read a whole book about him!

Check back in August for my new set of top monthly characters!
